With recent increase in interest in the use of Regional Joint Sector Review (JSRs) in the agriculture sector in Africa, ECOWAS has gradually been preparing for its first JSR. The aim of this workshop was to reach a consensus on the roadmap for the implementation of the regional JSR. The objective was to recap th e 2 findings of the r egional JSR assessment that was conducted in 2015 , use that as a basis for planning the JSR, establish sub - committees for the implementation of the RJSR and develop a road map for the implementation of the JSR .
This workshop brought together the members of the Advisory Committee for Agriculture and Food (CCAA) including the Ministries of Agriculture (PNIA / PDD AA Focal Point) of the ECOWAS Member States, the African Union Commission ( AUC), the ECOWAS Commission, regional and international technical institutions, donor partners, socio-professional organizations, civil society, the private sector, support institutions and programs and resource persons.
