The Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (RAAF / ECOWAS) in partnership with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) will launch a call for proposal for projects on the theme “social safety nets” on the 20, January, 2015
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), through the Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (RAAF), based in Lomé and with the financial support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), intends to fund "innovative" projects related to social safety nets in West Africa. These projects will be implemented by non-state actors, nonprofit: international, national and local NGOs, federations, associations and organizations of producers / producers, pastoralists, agro-pastoralists and agroindustry, associations of rural women as well as by local authorities. The amount of this call for proposals is USD 2.2 million.

The call for project proposals will also be advertised in French and English in two newspapers of each ECOWAS Member States. The deadline for sending (by email and by post) project proposals is 20, March 2015 at 12 o’clock, Lome/Togo Time.
