Publication : "Analyzing the Benin Land Law: An alternative viewpoint of progress"

A LUP recently published paper on the 2013 Land Law in Benin intend to assess the effectiveness of its implementation.
This implementation is still in process. It is too early to assess its effectiveness.
The new land policy in Benin is a reform of land administration, intended to expand the delivery of land titles.
It seems to be tailored more for well off urbans buying land than for the greatest number of citizens.
LUP published paper on this law contents several mistakes or misinterpretations and gives an unclear vision of the reform. »
