Wageningen University (the Netherlands) and the Sadguru Foundation (India) will jointly host a symposium « Decentralization, Power and Tenure Rights of Forest Dependent People » at Dahod, Gujarat, India on 27, 28 October 2009.
The main aim of the symposium is to share local, national and international experiences of decentralization reforms and forest tenure rights in relation to the political position of forestdependent indigenous peoples and pastoralists.
