The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), on behalf of the Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (RAAF) based in Lomé; and with the financial support of the French Development Agency (AFD), provides a total budget of 2 million Euros to finance projects for the improvement of food and nutrition security.
Funding will be awarded to "innovative" projects on the following themes:
1. The fortification of foods and local production of nutritional supplementation;
2. The securisation of pastoral activity systems;
3. The credit systems strengthening and agricultural insurance.
