For the first time, the Food Crisis Prevention Network (RPCA) will meet in Abuja, Nigeria to celebrate its 32nd anniversary. This will be an opportunity for the Network to highlight the implementation of the Cadre harmonisé in Nigeria as one of its key achievements. There are now 17 Sahelian and West African countries that use this tool to analyse and identify areas and populations at risk of food and nutrition insecurity. This year, the Cadre harmonisé has proven to be particularly helpful in north-eastern Nigeria, especially in the states of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe, where there is a serious security and humanitarian crisis.
